Know Your Fire Ratings
Building Regulations specify the use of fire resistant materials in all public buildings including schools, hospitals and government buildings 1.
This means that noticeboards must be fire rated to BS476 Part 7 Class 1 in offices, rooms and classrooms.
In corridors and stairwells, noticeboards must comply with Class B EN 13501 (an equivalent to Class 0).
Pitts Presentation offers noticeboards, tamperproof lockable noticeboards and whiteboards in both fire ratings.
